If you’re visiting Cairo, you’ve got to check out the Cairo Tower. We had an amazing time there, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots.

The views from the top are incredible, and it’s a great place to catch a stunning sunset. Plus, the rotating restaurant offers a unique dining experience that we won’t soon forget.

Breathtaking Panoramic Views

If you find yourself in the bustling heart of Cairo, the Cairo Tower should be at the top of your itinerary. We recently spent an unforgettable day exploring this iconic structure, and it’s easy to see why it’s one of the city’s must-visit landmarks. Standing at an impressive 187 meters, the Cairo Tower offers breathtaking panoramic views of the sprawling metropolis. As we ascended in the tower’s glass elevators, we couldn’t help but marvel at the stunning views unfolding before us. From the observation deck, the city's sprawling neighborhoods, the majestic Nile River, and even the distant pyramids of Giza were laid out like a living map.

Sunset Magic and Culinary Delights

Our visit to the Cairo Tower was perfectly timed with sunset. As the sky transitioned from golden to a canvas of vibrant colors, the scene was nothing short of magical. The experience was enhanced by the rotating restaurant at the top, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner with an ever-changing view. Dining here, we felt as if we were floating above the city, savoring local delicacies while the city lights began to sparkle below.

Visitor Information

The Cairo Tower is open daily from 9 AM to 11 PM, which gives you ample time to fit this attraction into your schedule. Ticket prices are quite reasonable: 200 EGP for adults, 100 EGP for children, and there’s an additional fee of 100 EGP for access to the revolving restaurant.

Comfortable Stay Nearby

For those looking to stay close to this iconic landmark, we recommend the Novotel Cairo El Borg. Located just a short walk from the tower, this hotel offers comfortable accommodations and excellent views of the Nile River. With rates starting around $100 per night, it’s a convenient and budget-friendly option for travelers.

Lykkers, our time at the Cairo Tower was a highlight of our trip, offering a unique vantage point from which to appreciate the rich tapestry of Cairo. Whether you’re a history buff, a photography enthusiast, or simply looking for a memorable experience, the Cairo Tower delivers in spades. Be sure to include it in your travel plans and soak in all that this amazing city has to offer.
