The beach is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and unique rock formations, including the iconic Ursa rock, which resembles a bear—hence the beach’s name.

The local specialty, “bacalhau à brás” (a codfish dish), was a must-try and cost around €20.
We also stopped by a quaint café where we enjoyed pastéis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts) paired with strong, aromatic coffee for about €5—a simple yet perfect treat to round off our day.
