Traditional naan bread is usually made by fermenting the dough with yeast to produce gas, and in addition to adding yeast to the dough, careful control of the heat when baking makes it easy to bake naan bread with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior.

There are also many different types of naan bread and a wide range of ingredients used, so here is one of the easiest ways to make them!

Main ingredient: Wheat flour

Ingredients; Wheat Flour

Seasoning: salt, five spice powder, yeast, water, vegetable oil

Production method

1. Pour all ingredients except vegetable oil into the bread machine.

2. Select the dough mixing program and start beating the dough;

3. At the end of one program (30 minutes), the dough will be smooth;

4. For small pieces of dough to open, you can pull out the film, but the break is not smooth, at this time the dough has been kneaded to the extended stage, you can do the cake;

5. Take the dough out and roll it out, put it into a large bowl, wrap it in plastic wrap, and put it into the oven or fermenter for fermentation (28-30 degrees);

6. Stop fermentation when the dough has doubled in size;

7. Remove the dough and divide it into three equal portions (about 220g a piece), roll out one by one, cover with plastic wrap or a damp cloth, and ferment in the middle for 10-15 minutes;

8. Brush a 9-inch pizza pan with oil, then grease your palm, take a portion of the dough and press it flat, and push it flat, like a pizza crust, pushing the edges thicker;

9. Use a naan poke to make an even pattern on the biscuit;

10. Brush the top of the biscuit with another thin layer of oil;

11. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Fahrenheit, middle, and bake for 10 minutes, then turn the heat up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for another 3-4 minutes;

12. Bake the naan bread and then brush the surface with a thin layer of oil while it is still hot.

Tips

1. Wholemeal flour can add a grainy flavor to the pastry, but if you don't have it, you can use all medium gluten flour;

2. Adding five-spice powder is just a personal preference, you can leave it out if you don't like it, but you can also add chopped vanilla or other spices of your choice;

3. Naan bread can also be made into milk and sugar flavored, this recipe will need to be adjusted by yourself;
