The Ford Performance Racing Team will compete in the 2024 NHRA Funny Car category with the all-new Mustang Dark Horse Funny Car. This rookie on the racing scene lives up to its "Dark Horse" name, earning a spot among the racing elite. The Mustang Dark Horse Funny Car is a masterpiece that combines powerful performance, perfect speed, and the heritage of the Ford brand, destined to continue the Ford Performance Racing Team's glorious chapter in NHRA events.

In the previous season, Bob Tasca III drove the Mustang to unprecedented speeds, setting the fastest 1,000-foot record (3.836 seconds) in top-level straight-line racing and bidding farewell to 2023 with his career-best performance. In 2024, Tasca leads the Ford Performance Racing Team's Funny Car legion, with their sights firmly set on the championship.

For the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series, the all-new Mustang Dark Horse will debut with a fresh livery. This "Dark Horse" has undoubtedly become a new business card for the Mustang brand in global motorsports. The new livery accurately conveys the traits of the Mustang Dark Horse, such as the deeper design of the Mustang emblem in the grille center and the Dark Horse badge retained in the center of the rear.

In the Xfinity events this year, this new livery emphasizes a fiercer stance than ever before, signaling Ford's determined defense of the championship.

The Ford Performance Racing Team unleashes its wild imagination on pure electric prototype cars, creating extraordinary models like the Mustang Mach-E 1400 and SuperVan.

Throughout 2024, the Ford SuperVan 4.2 race car will compete on legendary tracks in the racing world, including Baja, showcasing Ford's commitment to electrifying racing.

Notably, Ford will return to the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in June with a new pure electric prototype car, taking on the challenging journey of twists and turns.

The Hammer of the Gods extreme off-road race is set to kick off at the end of January, with the participating drivers in the 4400 Unlimited Class and 4600 Stock Class officially announced. Ford also announces that Bronco Nation will host camping and off-road test drive experiences for Bronco owners at the "Hammer of the Gods" event, allowing them to experience the excitement up close.

With the roar of each engine, Mustang Racing will continue to expand its territory in 2024. As an entry-level event, the all-new single-brand event, the Mustang Series Challenge, featuring the Dark Horse R, will kick off in Ohio in June.

Most of the five major series races set to participate in the Mustang Series Challenge have already been decided, with substantial prize money for each level award. This year's Mustang Series Challenge is bound to be a spectacular stage for new talents and seasoned warriors in the American racing scene.

In 2024, seven Mustang GT4 race cars will represent Ford customer teams in events held across two continents. The pinnacle of the Mustang racing lineup, the all-new Mustang GT3, will also field seven cars throughout the season, competing globally in events such as IMSA, WEC, and the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Series. Mustang will continue to support the Australian Supercars Championship this year, with the season officially starting at the Bathurst 1000 event in February.
