About Lotte World Tower

Lotte World Tower stands right by Jamsil Station in Gangnam. Soaring 555 meters high with 123 floors, it holds the title of South Korea's tallest building and ranks as the 6th tallest globally.

Purchase a ticket and ride one of the lightning-fast elevators, zooming up at 10 meters per second to the uppermost floors. Once there, soak in the stunning 360-degree views of the entire city from one of the world's premier observation decks! Costs around $20 USD per person to go up the tower. Open from 10:30 AM–10 PM daily.

Tips to Enjoy the Tower

Lotte World Tower is open from morning until evening, but the optimal time to visit is just before sunset. This timing allows you to witness the entire city bathed in sunlight gradually transitioning to dusk. Experience the mesmerizing transformation of colors across the skyline as the sun sets. As night falls, you'll see the city lights come alive, painting the night sky with their brilliance.

Don't forget to bring a camera when you head to the top of the tower. There are countless opportunities to capture memorable photos with your friends and family against the backdrop of the city, and don't miss the chance to stand above the glass floor and appreciate the breathtaking height.

Checking the weather forecast is crucial when planning your visit to the tower. Rain, clouds, smog, and fog can significantly limit visibility from the observation deck.

Things to See on Each Floor

1. Basement Floor 1 (BF1) – Observatory Lobby & Gift Shop

Inside Lotte World Mall, located in the main lobby area, you'll find the entrance to the Seoul Sky Observatory. Just inside, you'll see the main ticket booth where you can purchase tickets. A short walk past the ticket booth leads you to the Seoul Sky gift shop and the group ticket booth.

Once you've exchanged your ticket voucher at the individual ticket booth, head back to the entryway. There, you'll pass through a digital corridor and a security checkpoint before descending via escalator to BF2.

2. Basement Floor 2 (BF2) – Elevator Access & Exhibition Zone

Discover the Exhibition Zone and marvel at the technology showcased during the tower's construction. The exhibit showcases impressive art pieces, captivating screens, and dazzling light displays as you make your way to the elevator.

Ride Korea's first double-decker elevator, ascending at 10 meters per second towards the top. The journey to the 118th floor takes just under a minute. During the ride, enjoy an incredible animated experience depicting the tower's construction in time-lapse. Be prepared for the pressure change that might pop your ears as the elevator rapidly ascends the tower!

3. 119th Floor: Sky Friends Dessert Café

Sit back and indulge in delicious ice cream and sweets in a serene and cozy space. While this floor may not offer the best views of the tower, it's an excellent spot to observe people as they take photos and react to the glass floor.
